Class Summary

- Students will be required to have some kind of camera. This can be as simple as a point and shoot camera or a cell phone style camera, but it could also be a DSLR or mirrorless camera. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us at classes@huntsphoto.com.
- Please make sure whatever camera they bring has a fully charged battery and a memory card, if necessary.
- You can bring a snack and water, if you’d like
- As always, have them bring their enthusiasm and creative thoughts!

Do you have a budding photographer that you want to encourage? Join Hunt’s Photo Education for a multi-session photography program aimed at strengthening their interest, improving their photography, and getting them excited about photography!
Over the course of the sessions, we will work on elements of how to take a better picture: composition, perspective, photographing in color vs. black and white, and more. This is an introductory class aimed at helping students learn how to use their cameras to create amazing photographs. Our goal is for students to become comfortable with their cameras and enthusiastic about using them outside of the class.
This class is designed with 8-11 year olds in mind, so while we will work on a number of techniques, we won’t get bogged down in too many technical elements in photography. However, we will also scaffold instruction, so if an attendee wants to know more about the technical aspects, they still can! Please note: Our age requirement is general and a certain maturity level is helpful.

This will be a fun program with experienced instruction!And don’t worry if you can’t make one of the weeks–you’ll still learn a lot and have a great time!
