In this free hands-on workshop, OM SYSTEM ambassador Emilie Talpin will immerse you in the world of macro photography. Bring your camera and lens or borrow gear from OM SYSTEM, who will be offering loaners for this occasion. Emilie will give you a brief overview of what macro photography entails and will then guide and give you tips on how to sharpen your skills. You will be surrounded by macro opportunities, from water drops to mushrooms, so come learn and test your skills!
About Emilie
Emilie Talpin is an OM SYSTEM ambassador who grew up in Chalon sur Sa?ne, France, the birthplace of Nic?phore Ni?pce and the first photograph. Despite this background, she got into photography late and, in 2018, joined a local camera club where she met a group of talented photographers and was inspired to dive deeper into the art of capturing moments in time. She attributes part of her success as a photographer to switching from heavy and cumbersome gear to a camera system that is lighter and more versatile. She bought the OMD Em1 Mark II, a wildlife and a macro lens, and has never looked back. She is particularly interested in macro photography, especially in the art of capturing water drop refraction.
