What to Bring:
  • Participants should bring a camera with a fully charged battery, memory card, any lens in the 18-400mm range (or borrow a Tamron lens!)
  • You’re also welcome to bring a flash mounted on your camera

Join professional nature photographer, Roman Kurywczak, for a hands-on reptile photo shoot with Hunt’s Photo, Tamron Lenses, and Reptile Shows of New England. Roman will share technical tips and tricks needed for handheld close-up photography, which will allow you to achieve consistently tack sharp images, all in a single frame?and all without the need for a tripod! Topics will include specific camera settings, lens selection, overcoming distracting backgrounds, using flash to properly balance exposure and achieve dramatic results, and traditional and non-traditional gear hacks to maximize your time spent photographing your subjects.
A Tamron representative will be on-hand providing free loaner lenses with incredible close-up capabilities in a variety of focal lengths.
Participants should bring a camera with a fully charged battery, memory card, any lens in the 18-400mm range (or borrow a Tamron lens!) and a flash. Group sizes for this workshop will be limited to allow everyone an opportunity to capture images of the various reptiles on display.
