What to Bring:
  • Bring your camera with a memory card.
  • For lenses, you are welcome to bring your own, but SIGMA will also have lenses available for you to use, including zoom lenses and primes, great for capturing portraits. (Note: If you are using a Nikon Z or Canon R mirrorless camera, make sure to bring your adapter in order to use SIGMA lenses!)
    Recommended Prerequisites:
    Basic Knowledge of your Camera

    Whether you enjoy taking portraits in natural light or with flash, there is so much to learn about how to create a dynamic portrait. In this session, Westcott rep JC Carey and SIGMA rep Mike Hill will be conducting live portrait sessions outdoors (weather dependent!) using athletes and movement! You will then be able to use Westcott’s easy-to-use lights to create dynamic portraits of action! Westcott and SIGMA will discuss the importance of lighting and how to effectively use speedlights in an outdoor environment. Bring your camera! Lenses and lighting provided!
