June 28, 2025 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Class Summary
June 28, 2025 @ 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
• Important! From the Museum: “For the protection of the Zimmerman and Kalil Houses, food and water bottles, handbags larger than 10x10x3 inches (25x25x8 cm), backpacks, camera bags, and tripods are not permitted.”
• With this in mind, we will be working light and we recommend bringing fast lenses. Consider bringing low aperture lenses. If you bring a zoom, consider one that has a 2.8 aperture. Consider a prime lens that may go lower, such as a 24mm, 35mm, or 50mm. If you’re unsure, feel free to ask.
• As a reminder from above, tripods and camera bags/backpacks are NOT permitted.
• Bring an extra camera battery if you have one.
• Bring your enthusiasm and creative thoughts!
As always, if you are sick or feeling unwell, STAY HOME! We will gladly give you a credit towards a future walk.

Join Emily Hojnowski, Lead Educator and Frank Lloyd Wright fan girl, for a morning of architecture and art! We’ll begin the day at the Currier Museum of Art where we will be given a private tour of the two Frank Lloyd Wright homes in Manchester, NH–the Zimmerman House and the Kalil House–both built in the 1950s and recently acquired by the Currier Museum. We will spend approximately two hours on our tours and have enthusiastic and knowledgeable docents to give us all the inside scoop on the homes. After our tour, we will spend our remaining time exploring the Currier Museum, independently working on refining compositional techniques. This workshop is an excellent opportunity to work on architectural, fine art, and low light photography. Emily will be there to guide you every step of the way and make sure you get all your best images!
