- Make sure to dress accordingly with the most current weather report.
- Consider bringing wide angle or standard zoom lenses.
- A prime lens may also suit you well.
- Make sure to bring your tripod with a quick release plate and a shutter release, if you have one.
- Feel free to bring snacks and water, and a flashlight will likely help as well.
- Bring an extra camera battery and memory cards.
- As always, bring your enthusiasm and creative thoughts!
Updated COVID-19 Policies for outdoor Hunt’s Photo Walks and Workshops
Hunt’s Photo Education is aligning with CDC and state guidelines and will no longer require face masks for our outdoor Photo Walks. If you are more comfortable wearing a mask, please feel free to do so. We also recommend bringing a mask, just in case. We also ask that you maintain social distance of 6 feet from one another.
We will continue to have a maximum of 8 attendees per one instructor.
As always, if you are sick or feeling unwell, STAY HOME! We will gladly give you a credit towards a future walk.

Walk Description
Join Hunt’s Education for a walk in the downtown area of Newburyport. During the walk, we will discuss numerous aspects of photographing in the evening, including long exposures, composition, subject development, Exposure, Black and White Photography, and more!
On this walk, we will focus on capturing this historic town in the evening. We can also expect the city to be dressed for the holidays. Our walk will lead us downtown and to the Gillis Memorial Bridge. Photographers of all levels are encouraged to attend!
