What to Bring:
  • Make sure to dress accordingly with the most current weather report.
  • Wear good walking shoes!
  • A telephoto zoom lens longer than 200mm is recommended for birds
  • You may consider bringing other lenses, but for birding, the higher focal length will be much more beneficial
  • Feel free to bring snacks and water.
  • Bring an extra camera battery and memory cards.
  • As always, bring your enthusiasm and creative thoughts!

As always, if you are sick or feeling unwell, STAY HOME! We will gladly give you a credit towards a future walk.

Refund / Cancellation Policy

Refund Policy – Classes / Walks / Workshops

For classes, walks, & workshops, cancellations and postponement can be made up to 48-hours prior to the scheduled time. Refunds cannot be granted for cancellations placed less than 72-hours/3-days before a class or walk, but you can receive a 75% credit toward a future class, walk, or workshop.

For all cancellations, you must contact classes@huntsphoto.com prior to the event. If you register for a class and do not show up, your payment will be forfeited..

Join Hunt’s Photo Educator Emily Hojnowski and Mass Audubon Teacher Naturalist Correne George for a morning photographing at Mt Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge. On this walk, we will have numerous shooting opportunities to photograph birds in the area. In addition to photographing, we will be joined on this walk by Mass Audubon Teacher Naturalist Correne George who will discuss how to recognize and find birds, as well as how to ethically approach and work with birds with a naturalist approach. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend!

Please note: There will be a good amount of walking on this Photo Walk. Nothing too treacherous, but make sure to wear comfortable shoes!

Hunt’s Photo Walk: Golden Hour at Ft Williams Park & Portland Head Light

Sunday May 3rd, 5-7:45pm • Cape Elizabeth, Maine • On the walk, we will work on landscapes, long exposures, HDR, and focus bracketing.  We will also use filters to enhance our scene as the sun sets.
