Located an hour west of Boston, Sturbridge Village is a proud replication of an 18th century New England town. Sturbridge Village is a living history museum that features many authentic period buildings and homes to explore and enjoy. The village is also inhabited by re-enactors who provide colorful insight to life in New England during the 18th century. Sturbridge Village is a wonderful destination for a multitude of photographic opportunities as well as a glimpse into a bygone era.
Olde Sturbridge Village is perhaps one of the best places to have both a Photo Walk and a class. There’s a little bit of everything at this living history museum, from macro and closeup with fine details to architecture, from portraits to landscapes. On this workshop, we will work for the day around a central assignment at Olde Sturbridge Village. In the end, you should have a collection of images that support that central theme. This is an excellent opportunity to build experience, work with subjects to create a story, and also work on settings to fine-tune focus and exposure!
Join us for a great experience!
Please note: The cost of your ticket does NOT include the cost of your entrance into Olde Sturbridge Village, which can be purchased here: https://www.osv.org/plan-your-visit/
