David has continued to use his experience as a film photographer into the age of digital to capture images with little post processing needed after the exposure. David considers himself a “classic nature photographer” utilizing light, weather and compositional elements in his image design. David believes in simplifying an image. David Akoubian is a professional nature photographer based out of Georgia, but travels extensively photographing and teaching around the United States and Iceland. David has been a professional photographer since 1992, but began photographing in 1972 and has been an instructor since 1993. David is a Tamron Image Master, and his work is widely published in books, magazines, calendars and on websites.
