Join Hunt’s Photo Education for our new Multi-Session Series. In our Multi-Session Series, we will meet over the course of a number of weeks, generally at the same time each week. During that time, we will discuss a specific element of a topic and end the session by giving a photographic assignment. That assignment will be due for completion before the next class meeting, and we will review those images at the start of the next session. If for some reason you cannot attend one of the sessions, don’t worry! They will be recorded and you will be able to watch them at your leisure!
Our Multi-Session Series is designed to “keep the conversation going” by engaging with our attendees in a more personal way. In each of these classes, we will have limited attendees and provide direct feedback on images. We encourage photographers of all skill levels to consider these classes, as they will build upon your experience and provide an excellent chance to work on your imagery!
Editing in Adobe Lightroom
This is a great opportunity to build up your editing skills in Lightroom!
Adobe Lightroom is the choice program for professionals and amateurs, with ever-growing capabilities and options. However, there are many levels to understanding in the program. What do we do to make basic changes? Once we learn those changes, how can we “step it up” and figure out what to we’re supposed to do? How do we make images pop? And finally, how do we put it all together and making finishing touches to our images.
Join Hunt’s Photo Education for this three-week course that helps answer many of these questions. What’s most important about this course is that we will give weekly editing assignments, and we will review those edits at the start of the following week. Often, Lightroom users struggle with the inability to determine what changes are “good” or “correct”. While those terms are subjective, we will help you along in the editing process to see how to make determinations along the way.
In week one, we’ll talk about file types and adjustment ranges using Basic Development controls. More than anything, we will be emphasizing global changes and understanding what can be done with an image in Lightroom. In week two, we’ll dive into Color, Curves, Contrast & Clarity & Texture and begin to discuss a variety of masking techniques. These changes will help make your images pop. Finally, in week three, we’ll discuss advanced editing, including Sharpening, HDR, Pano stitching and more.
Each week, we will give an assignment and students will upload their edited photos prior to the next class. We will, by and large, be working with your images in the class.
This class is strongly recommended for anyone either looking to just get started with editing, or to fine-tune your editing skills!
After you register for this class, you will receive a confirmation email that will include information about how to access the online class, including an online ID code that you will need to get into the class. Make sure to save this information. We will also send a reminder email about 24 hours prior to the class time with that same information.
Layout of the class
The class will begin promptly at the time listed. If for some reason you cannot attend one of the sessions, don’t worry! They will be recorded and you will be able to watch them at your leisure! During each class, you are welcome to type in questions in the Question box if you have specific questions as they are asked. We will do our best to answer those questions, but if not, feel free to ask them at the end.
?You Are Being Recorded? (And Other Note Related Items)

We will send this link attendees to download and rewatch at any time. In addition to this, we will generally send out a PDF of the presentation (when applicable) and handouts on the topic.
