How gaining inspiration from different genres of photography has allowed for the progression of my wildlife photography. I’ll be discussing how my scenic and environmental style of bird photography came to be, and what kinds of situations and compositions I look for to create compelling and fulfilling images.

Bio:
My name is Tobias Yoder and I grew up in central Texas and started photographing the birds in my area almost eight years ago now. Over the years my style has changed drastically as I have matured more as a photographer and I have finally narrowed in on a style that feels like me, namely landscape-esque wildlife photography. While photography is what drives me to get out in nature in odd areas at odd times, it is and has always been being in nature itself that is where the real enjoyment comes from whether I get photos or not.
