Adobe Premiere Pro

We strongly recommend having Adobe Premiere Pro to take this class. If you do not currently have it, please note that you can download a trial copy for 14-days. You must download an updated version of the software before attending the course. Due to the size of the program, you will not be able to download the program in our store.

Files to Download

We will be sending out a link leading up to the class with files that should download prior to attending.

Also…

•Make sure to bring your laptop with the program installed
•A power cable is strongly recommended
•If you own an external hard drive, we recommend bringing that as well. (Feel free to store the downloaded files on the external hard drive!)

Refund / Cancellation Policy

Refund Policy – Classes / Walks / Workshops

For classes, walks, & workshops, cancellations and postponement can be made up to 48-hours prior to the scheduled time. Refunds cannot be granted for cancellations placed less than 72-hours/3-days before a class or walk, but you can receive a 75% credit toward a future class, walk, or workshop.

For all cancellations, you must contact classes@huntsphoto.com prior to the event. If you register for a class and do not show up, your payment will be forfeited.

By registering for a class, workshop, walk or event, you are agreeing to our Code of Conduct as described below.
At Hunt’s Photo Education, we treat each other with respect and dignity. This means that all students and employees are entitled to participate in an environment that is free of harassment, bullying and discrimination.

Recording Content Policies

All instruction and information taught at Hunt’s Photo Education is the property of Hunt’s Photo and/or the instructor(s) involved. Class material, including handouts, PDFs, online and video content, cannot be shared in a public environment, including with camera clubs, or posted online to streaming services, such as YouTube, without express written consent. We also ask that our classes are not audio or video recorded without consent, including but not limited to the use of smart glasses, body cameras, smart phones, computers, tablets, or smart watches. If consent is given, this information cannot be posted online or distributed without express written consent.

Are you interested in taking footage that you’ve captured to the next level? If so, learning how to edit is the way to go! Adobe Premiere Pro is one of the most popular editing platforms used today and its use spans all the way from regular content creation for social media, to news broadcast and even feature films production. Join us for this class that goes over how to get started with video editing and the dos and don’ts that’ll help make your content stand out with truly professional vibes.

In this class, we will cover the following:

• File management- How to safely organize your files
• Setting up the project- From creating the project, to formatting your timeline, to understanding codecs, file types, and frame rates!
• Importing video and audio files
• Editing on your timeline- From placing a single video file and cutting the length to layering footage and creating transitions (plus many of the basic tools)
• Working with audio and audio transitions
• Exporting your file
Please keep in mind that Premiere can be a vast program and our Intro to Premiere is just that: An Intro to Premiere Pro.

All attendees of this class will also be provided footage to work with as well as a take home guide that can be used as a go-to if part of the editing process is forgotten.
