Class Summary
September 24, 2022 @ 3:30 pm - 6:30 pm
- Make sure to dress accordingly with the most current weather report.
- Wear good walking shoes!
- A standard zoom lens is always a good starting option. SIGMA will also have lenses available to use!
- Feel free to bring snacks and water.
- Bring an extra camera battery and memory cards.
- As always, bring your enthusiasm and creative thoughts!
Walk with Heather and a ballerina through the downtown Lowell area as you learn about what lenses she uses when and how she poses dancers. Learn some dance terms so you can get good results on your own later! You’ll have an opportunity to test SIGMA loaner gear and watch Heather as she poses the dancer for best portraits. Heather recommends that you request a wider lens like the 24-70mm.
*Please be advised that while we strive to ensure easy access for all, due to the naturally varied topography or downtown areas, portions of any walk may be inaccessible to those with mobility concerns.
SIGMA Tech Rep Marc Farb and Hunt’s Photo Educator Paul Nelson will also be available to answer questions throughout the afternoon!
