• Bring your camera with a memory card.
• For lenses, a standard zoom lens will work fine. You are also welcome to bring prime lenses, macro lenses, or telephoto zoom lenses. Almost anything can work!
• Bring a tripod and a shutter release, if you have one.
Automobile Product Photography is a challenge and this program will help you overcome that challenge. In this session, we will discuss lighting theory and will see how to overcome reflections and distortion. You will learn how to add and subtract light as needed. Most of all, you will learn to create professional images.
The session will concentrate on the following:
• Setting-up and using off-camera lights
• Using reflectors, diffusers and other light modifiers
• Correct use of polarizers
• Creative lighting techniques
You will learn how to get consistent results and be confident in lighting your subject in any environment.
About Shiv
Shiv Verma, FPSA, MNEC is a published author, photographer, educator and technologist. He is a Panasonic Lumix Global Ambassador, Wacom Pro-Artist and an X-Rite Coloratti. He has been photographing for over 50 years and has evolved his photography to express his intense devotion to wildlife and nature. Over the years has earned numerous awards and recognition both nationally and internationally. Shiv devotes a great deal of his time formally reviewing photography related products, to education in digital photography and is a speaker and competition judge.
