Join Hunt’s Photo Educators Ron Phillips and Paul Nelson for a unique, informative, and fun workshop! Drop some food, take some pictures, and have some fun!
Photography often starts with an idea, but sometimes those ideas require post-processing to make them a reality. ?I want to capture food in mid-air falling onto a plate.? You know it can be done, but how can we do it? Ultimately, this is achieved through the combination of good lighting, a good setup and technique, and finally, multiple exposures combined in post-processing. And while it sounds difficult, our goal in this workshop will be to break it all down and use simple techniques to get an amazing finished product!
We’ll begin with the concept, pictured above. Working in groups of two, we will put together the lighting for the scene and set up the composition. Then we will photograph and work on technique and execution. Once we have successful images, we will then dive into post-processing using Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop, combining exposures to make an amazing end result.
A note on editing requirements: For best results, attendees should bring a laptop with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop installed (and updated). You do not need to be an expert, but you should have some familiarity with Lightroom and Photoshop.
