  • A macro lens is essential for this workshop. (If you are looking for a lens to rent, you can rent it from us at rentals.huntsphoto.com!)
  • If you don’t have a macro lens, the next best lens would be a longer telephoto, 70-100mm.
  • Macro filters or extension tubes can also be used
  • We will be bringing lots of flowers to photograph. However, we find in our macro workshops that our attendees value shooting some things of their own as much if not more than what we bring. So, while we will have flowers, feel free to bring your own!
  • Make sure to bring your tripod with a quick release plate and a shutter release, if you have one.
  • Feel free to bring snacks and water
  • Bring an extra camera battery and memory cards.
  • As always, bring your enthusiasm and creative thoughts!
