What to Bring:
  • Camera, memory cards, batteries
  • Wide angle, standard, telephoto and super-telephoto lenses (If you are looking for a lens to rent, you can rent it from us at rentals.huntsphoto.com!)
  • Tripod
  • Cable release
  • Polarizers and Neutral Density filters if you have them

Refund Policy – Adventures

For most Photo Adventures, a deposit of 25% of the total cost of the workshop is required to hold a spot. Please note: Deposits are non-refundable, but you can receive a 50% credit toward a future adventure. Within 45-days, all payments are non-transferable.
For Photo Adventures under $1,000, we may only have the total cost payment option. In this case, 25% is non-refundable.
For national adventures (excluding Alaska), final payments are due one month prior to the start of the workshop.
For international adventures (and Alaska), final payments are due 90-days prior to the start of the workshop. We strongly encourage travel insurance!

Workshop Description
The mountainous region of northwest Scotland, known as the Scottish Highlands, is a landscape photographers delight. The Highlands, created centuries ago by fire and ice, are an inspiring mix of dramatic mountains, moody lakes, and dynamic light. The scenery here is simply stunning. Our journey through the Highlands will also take us through quaint villages, ancient castles, renowned distilleries, and more. By design we will explore the rugged landscapes of the Highlands while also enjoying the best of Scotland?s proud culture too. Undoubtedly, the Scottish Highlands will ignite your passion for adventure and creativity.

November 4th & 5th
?Fly into Edinburgh Airport
?Drive to Glencoe
?Full day exploring Glencoe
November 6th
?Drive to Skye with stop off at Neptunes Staircase Fort William, Eilean Donan Castle, Sligachan, evening exploring Portree
November 7th
?Explore north of Portree, Old Man of Storr, Kilt Rock, Quiraing, Duntulm Castle, Uig
November 8th
?Elgin, Fairy Pools Skye
November 9th
?Drive to Isle Mull, Ferry Armadale to Mallaig, Road to Isles, Glenfinnan Viaduct (Harry Potter Bridge) and Bonnie Prince Charlie monument, Glenuig, ferry from Lochaline to Fishnish Mull, Tobermory
November 10th
?Explore Mull, Calgary Bay, Duart Castle, Iona, Tobermory Distillery
November 11th
?Drive to Edinburgh. Afternoon in Edinburgh
November 12th
?Fly home

Your passport will be required on this workshop.
Skill Sets:?All Levels of Photographers are Welcome. Others are welcome to attend, but please note: This is a photography workshop.
Physical Activity:?Medium. We will be walking and touring historic sites, towns, and villages for a few hours each day. We will have structured days with planned leisure time.
Payments
A deposit of 25% of the total cost of the trip is required upon sign-up to secure a spot. The remaining balance is due 30-days prior to the workshop. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance.

Hunt’s Photo Walk: Golden Hour at Ft Williams Park & Portland Head Light

Sunday May 3rd, 5-7:45pm • Cape Elizabeth, Maine • On the walk, we will work on landscapes, long exposures, HDR, and focus bracketing.  We will also use filters to enhance our scene as the sun sets.
