What to Bring:
  • Bring your camera with a memory card.
  • For lenses, a standard zoom lens will work fine. You are also welcome to bring prime lenses or telephoto zoom lenses. Almost anything can work!
    Recommended Prerequisites:
    Basic Knowledge of your Camera

    Join Rob Sylvan from Canon for a fun walk around challenging you to see in a new way by going on a scavenger hunt! A list of tasks will be provided at the outset along with a brief discussion of gear and camera settings. There will be a variety of themes and objects to hunt for, but be dressed for the weather. The challenge will be to see beyond the obvious as we search for light, patterns, interesting compositions, and otherwise seemingly simple things that tend to be ignored. Consider this a chance to enhance your creativity with predetermined objectives and utilize the tools available to create exciting visual content.

    This class is for all photography levels and cameras.
    About Rob
    Rob Sylvan is a photographer, educator, and aspiring beekeeper. He is the author of many Lightroom, Photoshop, and photography related books, eBooks, and videos. His latest book is Lightroom Classic for Dummies. Rob also authors and curates tutorials found within the Photoshop and Lightroom applications, is a Canon Product Educator, regularly contributes to Photoshop User magazine, and teaches at photography industry conferences such as Adobe MAX, Photoshop World, PHOTOPLUS, and more.
