About Emilie
Emilie Talpin is an OM SYSTEM ambassador who grew up in Chalon sur Saône, France, the birthplace of Nicéphore Niépce and the first photograph. Despite this background, she got into photography late and, in 2018, joined a local camera club where she met a group of talented photographers and was inspired to dive deeper into the art of capturing moments in time. She attributes part of her success as a photographer to switching from heavy and cumbersome gear to a camera system that is lighter and more versatile. She bought the OMD Em1 Mark II, a wildlife and a macro lens, and has never looked back. She is particularly interested in macro photography, especially in the art of capturing water drop refraction.
