Join Hunt’s Photo Education for a walk where we will work specifically on environmental portraiture in a street photography setting with the most outrageous (and awesome) subjects- Steampunk!

Founded in 2011, the Waltham Steampunk Festival is the oldest outdoor Steampunk Festival in the country. Steampunk is an aesthetic and fashion that often mixes old-fashioned design (ex. Victorian/19th century era) with futuristic technology, or at least futuristic from the design’s standpoint. Colorful personalities, eccentric clothing, boisterous jewelry, and clever gadgetry are just some of the elements to expect from this fun day! During the annual festival, attendees and vendors gather to show off their unique outfits and inventions.  It is a spectacular event for photographers to experience and photograph.

On this walk, we will photograph at the festival for the majority of the day, meeting at 11:30am until the end of the festival at 4pm. (If you cannot attend for the entirety, that’s OK, but we will be in attendance for the day!) We will work on storytelling, environmental portraits, and more!

As a final note, please consider that this event is a rain or shine event, so we will (hopefully) be attending, rain or shine.

Join us for this unique and special photo walk!
