Join Hunt’s Photo Education for another entry in our series of portrait workshops where we will be working in natural light and flash! We will emphasize creating portraits using available light through subject placement and composition through the aid of diffusers and reflectors. We will then separately demonstrate reasons to add in flash.
Hunt’s Photo Educator (and strobe specialist) Paul Nelson will take you through the process of how to understand the full process, from naturally lighting a subject, to how to properly expose while using strobes, to how to actually use the strobes themselves!
We will begin photographing late afternoon in the sunlight (and shade) and work until just before sunset at the beautiful Stevens-Coolidge Place in North Andover. We will have a opportunity to take some wonderful portraits in a beautiful, green environment, excellent practice for senior portraits, engagement sessions and more! For gear, we will have the ability to use both Westcott (FJ80, FJ200, FJ400) or Godox (AD200) strobes/flashes as well as Westcott diffusers, both of which are excellent brands for creating stunning portraits. Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.
