- A standard zoom lens is always a good option
- Portrait lenses range from 85mm to 130mm. Those lenses are recommended
- You may choose a wider lens, such as a 35mm or 50mm, but be aware they will include more of the background
- Feel free to bring snacks and water.
- Bring an extra camera battery and memory cards.
- As always, bring your enthusiasm and creative thoughts!
Refund Policy – Classes / Walks / Workshops
For classes, walks, & workshops, cancellations and postponement can be made up to 48-hours prior to the scheduled time. Refunds cannot be granted for cancellations placed less than 72-hours/3-days before a class or walk, but you can receive a 75% credit toward a future class, walk, or workshop.
For all cancellations, you must contact classes@huntsphoto.com prior to the event. If you register for a class and do not show up, your payment will be forfeited..
Join Hunt’s Photo Educator and Professional Wedding and Portrait Photographer Rebecca Wade for another entry in our series of portrait workshops where we will be emphasizing posing couples!
This class is designed for photographers who want to learn how to pose couples, and put their subjects at ease. Rebecca teaches modern techniques for posing couples: Rather than static posing, she will emphasize how to work with movement and casual posing to create a more natural look!
For this special workshop, we will be photographing at The Newburyport Studio, a rentable space in Newburyport with excellent natural lighting and a variety of props and posable chairs that are perfect for working with subjects in an intimate setting. If you’d like to learn a little bit about when to use flash, we are also happy to teach that in the workshop, but the focus will primarily be on shooting in natural light.
Rebecca’s expertise is in weddings and couples, and this is a terrific opportunity to get some fantastic, portfolio-building images!
