Join Hunt’s Photo Education for another entry in our series of portrait workshops where we will be emphasizing subject posing in portraits! We will discuss basic posing techniques and how to position your subject’s hands and body, and how to use angles, perspective, and depth of field to create a successful portrait. We will also discuss subject expression and how it relates to lighting!
We will begin with an introductory presentation that discusses posing and directing, as well as lighting and basic settings. We will then photograph models for the afternoon. This will be a very fun and informative class! Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend.
This workshop will emphasize creating portraits using studio light and/or strobes. We can discuss ANY kind of lighting, with our primary source being strobes or LED. If you have a request to use a specific type of light, please let us know!
Layout of the day:
9am- Introductions, brief presentation/discussion on posing, camera settings and more
10am- Begin creating setups
11-2pm- Photographing with models. We will have about 3 hours in two setups.
