Film Photography is making a comeback! Come learn what makes film so unique and beautiful and learn how to best use your film camera with instructor and photographer Tessa Klingensmith!
This is the essential class for anyone looking to either get into 35mm film photography or relearn the basics that they once knew. Discussion points in the class will include:

  • The basic settings on 35mm film cameras, including exposure, aperture and shutter speed
  • Properly loading, unloading, and storing 35mm film
  • Current 35mm films (“film stocks”) and what unique characteristics they hold
  • What to look for and how to achieve amazing results!
  • Hands-on shooting demos!

Attendees should all have a working 35mm film camera, along with a working battery. (Hunt’s Photo sells most film camera batteries.) If you are unsure whether your camera is fully functional, we strongly recommend you contact us at classes@huntsphoto.com and schedule a time that we can check it out!

Attendees will also be given a roll of 35mm film, which they can use during the class for any demo purposes. The cost of film developing is NOT included, but you can bring in your roll of film to Hunt’s to have it developed OR, if you want to learn about film processing, you can sign up for our Developing Film classes!  (Scanning is included in the cost of that class!)

Get into the world of 35mm film and see what the fuss is all about!
