We live in the Digital Age, but why is print still so important? What is the current state of the publishing and self-publishing worlds? And what does it actually mean to be a creative member of society? We will address these topics and more as we delve into the world of modern print and the nearly endless options available today. Attendees should bring an open mind, a sense of humor and their questions in regard to all things print.

Bio: Daniel Milnor is currently ?Creative Evangelist? for Blurb, Inc. the world?s premiere print-on-demand publisher. Milnor is a former newspaper, magazine and commercial photographer who now works primarily on long-term projects. Milnor has self-published hundreds of titles and is a strong believer in the inherent power of being a creative member of society. He has taught at Art Center College of Design and the Academy of Art University. His work is in the collections of The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The George Eastman House, and the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. He lives in and loves New Mexico.

Layout of the class
The class will begin promptly at the time listed. The majority of the class will be a presentation on the topic, followed by a short Q&A. During the class, you are welcome to type in questions in the Questions box. We will do our best to answer those questions, but if we can’t answer them on the spot, feel free to ask them at the end.
