Certain special workshops, such as this one, are non-refundable. If you need to cancel more than 10 days prior, you can receive a 50% credit towards a class in the future. We do not offer credits within 10 days of the workshop.

Go behind the lens, lights, tubes, and mind of twenty-year rock and celebrity portrait photographer Jeremy Saffer and get a glimpse into the world of music, celebrity, and entertainment photography using LED and Tube lighting in this workshop where we will work with and photograph bands and musicians!
In this workshop, the emphasis will be on photographing musicians and bands. Attendees will work to develop their technique for lighting both the individual and the group in order to create depth, emotion, and impactful imagery.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Anyone with an interest in portrait photography and lighting will gain much from this program. Music photographers looking to get into music portraiture. Any photographers who want the chance to photograph a band using professional lighting in a studio setting.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW
Having a basic understanding of photography, camera settings, and being familiar with your camera is important but students do not need any prior lighting experience.
