Join Hunt’s Photo Education for a fun and unique portrait workshop that not only discusses portraits and how to take them effectively, but also discusses practical posing and subject interaction. After all, when the photographer is the model?
That?s right! In Photographing Each Other, the photographers will also be acting as the models! We will take turns ?photographing each other? for the whole of this workshop. The best way to learn about how to pose and direct your subject is to be a subject yourself, and that?s what this workshop aims to do. In the end, attendees should have a better understanding of what makes a successful portrait, how to execute it, and also have some great shots of themselves!
We will emphasize creating portraits using available light through subject placement and composition through the aid of diffusers and reflectors, but if you are interested in flash, we can work with that as well.
As a background, we will be utilizing the Saugus Iron Works. Its diversity and tone are an excellent location for a variety of portraits.
Photographers of all skill levels are encouraged to attend, but be aware: You will be photographed!
