Intermediate Photography – Getting the Look is designed to help you expand on your foundational technical knowledge while diving deeper into the creative side of photography. In this class, you’ll learn how to shape the “look” of your images by using light, shadow, color, and composition as storytelling tools. We’ll explore how creative choices influence mood, energy, and emotion—helping you capture not just what a subject looks like, but what it feels like.
In Intermediate Photography – Getting the Look, we’ll go beyond exposure and focus on crafting photographs with intention. Through hands-on exercises, we’ll explore how to use color theory, light and shadow, and compositional techniques to enhance storytelling and create photographs with mood and impact. By the end of the class, you’ll feel more confident in making creative choices that give your images their own distinct look and feel.
Taking our Beginner Photography OR Digital Photo Basics 1 and 2 classes (or equivalent experience) is recommended prior to this course.
