What to Bring:
  • Your camera (digital if you could please)
  • Any lenses you want to use
  • Feel free to bring snacks and water. There will be snacks on hand, but if you have any dietary restrictions please let us know
  • Bring an extra camera battery and freshly formatted memory cards
  • Anything you want to take notes with
  • As always, bring your enthusiasm and creative thoughts!
Recommended Prerequisites:
Having a basic understanding of photography, camera settings, and being familiar with your camera is important. Students must be able to operate their camera?s menu navigation and button system on their own. Knowledge of photography basics & understanding of the exposure triangle required. Students do not need any prior lighting experience

Who Should Take This Workshop?
Days 2 and 3 of Jeremy’s workshops will consist primarily of photographers building lighting scenes and shooting. If you have taken any of Jeremy’s past classes on LED Lighting, that should give you enough background to take this class. If you have not taken any of Jeremy’s classes in the past, we recommend starting by taking Day 1 as well! (The three day option below will be best!)
ABOUT OUR WEEKEND OF WORKSHOPS WITH JEREMY SAFFER- This workshop is day 2 of our weekend workshops with Jeremy.  Friday is Dramatic Portraiture: LED lighting for dramatic gothic portraits, Saturday is LED Lighting for Cosplay, and Sunday is Rockin’ LED- Lighting for Music Photography! If you would like to sign up for all three days at a discounted rate, make sure to choose the Three Day Option!

If you are sick or feeling unwell, STAY HOME! We will gladly give you a partial credit towards a future workshop. Also, please note: We are requiring that ANY ATTENDEE with a cough MUST wear a mask for the health and safety of the attendees, instructors, and models.

Refund Policy – Special Workshop

Certain special workshops, such as this one, are non-refundable. If you need to cancel more than 10 days prior, you can receive a 50% credit towards a class in the future. We do not offer credits within 10 days of the workshop.

For all cancellations, you must contact classes@huntsphoto.com prior to the event. If you register for a class and do not show up, your payment will be forfeited.

Join Jeremy Saffer in a very special advanced group shoot working where YOU take over the lighting, set, subjects, and do your own shoot (multiple set ups/shoots with extended shoot times), Jeremy is on hand for guidance, advice, and support. This is a unique opportunity to use a variety of different lighting with some incredible subjects to create incredible looks in a studio setting. You choose the level of assistance you need from Jeremy, fully hands on setting up lights/running the set for you to 100% hands off, leaving it entirely up to you and everything in between. – a follow up image review and feedback session will take place over zoom. As mentioned in the title, our models will be emphasizing a Cosplay look, which is a great addition to anyone’s portfolio!

GENERAL SCHEDULE:

Our general schedule will be that we’ll do a brief introduction and setup, then dive right into setting up lights and shooting. This will be a big day of SHOOTING!

What Gear Will We Learn?
We will be using Nanlite Tubes, COB LED Lighting, light modifiers and more. We will cover white balance and color within those lights.
We will also work with the Nanlite app to control the lights wirelessly, in order for you to have a more fluid understanding of how to light scenes.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
