Join Heather Larkin, Hunt’s Photo Education, and SIGMA lenses in Downtown Lowell with brick, cobblestones, and the “city feel” as we learn about photographing ballerinas! This is your opportunity to test some SIGMA loaner lenses to get the best dance photos and experiment with color, composition, shutter speed, all while using natural light.  In this workshop, Heather will talk a little about what lenses she uses and the vocabulary of dance, as well as subject placement, composition, and how to work with dancers.

Prep and Follow Up, Too!

Included in the workshop cost will be our introductory webinar “Photography and Poise”, which will dive deeper into how to approach dance photography, including dance terminology and poses/positions, lens selection, and more! The workshop will also include an image review/follow-up session where we’ll be able to review your images. This is an excellent opportunity to improve upon your dance photography from a professional dance photographer!

*Please be advised that while we strive to ensure easy access for all, due to the naturally varied topography, portions of any walk may be inaccessible to those with mobility concerns.

This workshop is an excellent opportunity for photographers of any skill level!
